This flavor was inspired by Dubai chocolate, an incredible invention from a Middle Eastern chocolatier that overtook TikTok a couple years ago. She created a dark chocolate bar that encased pistachio praline, injected crunchy kunafa, and added tahini for depth.

We made a delicious pistachio praline for our annual production of pistachio + rose a couple months ago, and the team was playing around with it one afternoon. Lisa, one of our senior cakemakers who just hit her 4 year anniversary at Butter&, decided to combine our chocolate cake with the pistachio praline and we all took it home for dessert.

We loved it, we shared it with our friends and family, and they loved it, and we continued making it for ourselves for a few weeks. The combination is so satisfying, we had to offer it up to the public.
